Newbie here -- "New to Joomla".
My first time trying to install Joomla_5.0.3-Stable-Full_Package. During install it says "A Database error occurred." (in my web browser). The apache error log does not show any errors.
So I read through the forums here but not finding an answer. Then read about the FPA and downloaded version 1.6.6. Put it in place per the instructions.
Going to /fpa-en.php in my web browser, it sits there for a while and then I get the browser message "The page isn’t redirecting properly". The apache access log shows a string of "... GET /fpa-en.php HTTP/1.1" 302 ..." lines but no errors listed in the error log.
The environment is:
Apache 2.4, and PHP 8.1.27 (php-fpm). MySQL 8.0.21 is on a separate server. The web server is on port 80 and sits behind a KEMP device which handles the SSL encryption on port 443.
I think this is a situation like I've encountered before with WordPress and Drupal -- where I need a way to tell fpa-en.php (and Joomla, I presume) that the web server is running on port 80 (http) but the URLs need to all be HTTPS.
I looked but haven't found an entry on how to do that here in the forum.
